The Virtex LaserQC® is Falcon's automated self-calibrating laser inspection system
for first article inspection, Statistical Process Control and reverse engineering of 2D
materials.
LaserQC® will inspect flat parts in just seconds and compare every measurement to
CAD specifications. Laser inspection scans produce a color-coded visual display that
shows the image of the CAD drawing and design tolerances along with the scanned
part - any specification variance is immediately apparent. Then, the LaserQC® system
generates reports within seconds of completing the scan.
The LaserQC® will reverse engineer within minutes. The scanning process captures
the complete profile of existing components at laser speed and stores the data in CAD
compatible files.
LaserQC® will accurately scan flat parts up to 8" thick. The scanning table will accept
parts up to 48" x 48". For larger parts, LaserQC® will automatically merge multiple
scans into a single image.
